Please post characters in the following format. Players are limited to 3 NEW characters. Post the name of the character as the topic title.

If your character is approved, your character is put into probation for one week, or longer if the character is not played frequently. At the end of this period, if your character passes probation (defined as following our standard posted below), you are entitled to one free respec of your perks and skills within 14 days. OUR STANDARDS:

We post in the following format:

./3me *character* does an action, then speaks with ""

Example:

Sun Light wiggles a bit, doing an action, then speaks. "Hi!"

Actions are not always required, but are preferred.

No meta gaming;

We do not allow meta gaming in almost all cases. Meta gaming is defined as your character acting on information that you as a player knows, but not the character themselves knows. Example:

Bob the player finds out that his character will be ambushed if he goes down an alley. His character does not know anything is afoot. He avoids the alleyway for no, or shaky, reasons.

Meta gaming may be used, rarely, to gather together a large group of roleplayers. It is annoying, of course, to ICly plan a gathering of players which depends on OOC factors.

No God Modding:

God modding is never allowed. God modding is defined as attempting to force injury or death on a character without that player's permission. Besides combat, you can NOT force ANYTHING on anyone's character without their consent. It is entirely up to that player how to react to defeat in combat, or your actions:

Example of God Modding:

Bob's character walks up to Sue's character, and rips her ear off.

No power gaming:

Power gaming is difficult to quantify, considering the nature of our systems. In general, it is frowned upon to create a character that is all about 'winning'. Character may conform to archetype builds, as long as this makes sense for the character to have. It is no fun trying to be number one in an RP setting that is about cooperation, not competition!

OOC zones:

Players may watch RPs OOCly, as long as they follow the previous rules, and keep themselves unobtrusive. IE: they stay on the roof or from a hidden area nearby. As a general rule, this is an RP sim and you are assumed to be IC at all times, unless you otherwise mark yourself. All OOC is to be unobtrusive. PM players if you need to speak at length OOCLy.

Don't be an idiot
: Should go without saying. When in Rome, act as the Romans do!
