Biography/Brief History
Dawnpath was born in the ruins of an ancient city to a pegasus father and a batpony mother. Taking mostly after his father in looks, he grew up in the upper floor of a bombed out library, scouring the burned wreckage for fiction materials. One day when he was 14, he found an old, frail, worn copy of a Daring Do book: Daring Do and the Eternal Flower. Unfortunately, the same day he found that rare treasure, raiders came knocking. He hid, of course, when he heard the doors break down, under the dusty, slowly rotting floorboards, but his parents weren’t so lucky. His dad was felled by gunshot when he tried to fight. His mother was enslaved and taken away, as of yet never found. This was bad news for the young hybrid, who had nothing but his books for the longest time. Now there was a great, wide world that had taken everything he had, but was the only way to get what he needed.

After about a month of trying to make it on his own out of this library, he was picked up by a passing Zebra group. They were nice enough, polite, if a little strange. He met them when they took refuge in the library to avoid the weather. A little mistrustful at first, the truth of the matter was that, at this point, he had run out of food. They took him in and looked after him until he could fend for himself, giving him his first real introduction to the world outside.
